Hilary Woods – Acts Of Light (Vinyl) Format:Vinyl LP Colour 2 Far from MeThe fourth full length solo release from Irish artist Hilary Woods features field recording from Spain, and Ireland as well as the Galway City Chamber Choir and the Palestrina Boys Choir. Listened in sequence, the nine cuts are like chapters of a hike through a black pine forest, where the air is sharp and time stands still. A sense of foreboding makes way for desolation, ultimately unearthing liminal pockets of awe. It may be shrouded in shadow, but
