This is an excellent example of a rather rare wooden crate that would have contained 12 K Rations. The box is in wonderful condition and retains mostly legible stamping on the front and side. This example still retains the original cardboard insert which certainly smells as old as it is. The crate was manufactured by Hiram Walker & Sons, Inc.
