This is a gorgeous late 17th Century pistol lock which was placed onto this display stand which likely at one point was set up to show how the lock cocks and fires, but it no longer functions in that way. The piece measures 6 x 2 x 3, and the lock can be removed from the block to inspect the interior. The block was custom made to fit this exact lock, and there is a small button on top which would have originally been set
